By reading and agreeing to the terms outlined in this document, I hereby confirm my understanding, acceptance, and agreement to all statements, terms, and conditions contained herein. This document applies to all events offered by Energy Alchemy, including but not limited to workshops, courses, retreats, and Tantra Massage training.

By ticking the required box online at checkout and/or signing this document in person, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to all terms.

Section 1 - Definitions

 

For the purpose of this agreement:

​

1. Event: Any workshop, course, or retreat offered by Energy Alchemy, whether in-person or online.

2. Participant: The individual engaging in the event and agreeing to this document.

3. Tantra Massage: A therapeutic practice involving physical touch, including optional genital massage, designed to facilitate spiritual, energetic, and physical healing.

4. Confidential Information: All teaching materials, session content, or proprietary knowledge provided during events.

5. Organization: Energy Alchemy, including its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates.

 

Section 2 - Assumptions of Risk and Release of Liability

 

2.1 ASSUMPTION OF RISKS

By participating in Energy Alchemy events, I acknowledge and accept that these activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical Risks: Injury, soreness, exhaustion, dehydration, or other physical discomforts.

• Emotional Risks: Vulnerability, emotional release, or emotional overwhelm and instability. 

• Property Risks: Loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

• Other Risks: Risks caused by facilities, weather, equipment, participant actions, or lack of hydration.

 

I understand that these risks may arise from my own actions, the actions of others, or the condition of the facilities and equipment, and I voluntarily assume full responsibility for all such risks.

2.2 RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of my participation in Energy Alchemy events, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and discharge Energy Alchemy, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, including but not limited to:

• Death, disability, or personal injury

• Property damage or theft

• Any other actions, claims, or demands arising from participation in these activities, including travel to and from events

 

This release applies even if the injury, damage, or loss arises from the negligence of the Released Parties.

2.3 INDEMNIFICATION

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Energy Alchemy and its Released Parties from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:

• My actions during participation

• My failure to disclose relevant health or personal information

• Claims brought by third parties as a result of my participation in the events

2.4 MEDICAL FITNESS AND CONSENT

• I certify that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in Energy Alchemy events. I have not been advised by a medical professional to refrain from participation.

• I agree to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations to Energy Alchemy before participation.

• In the event of an injury, accident, or illness, I consent to receive medical treatment deemed advisable by event organizers or medical professionals.

2.5 ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF TRAINING RISKS

I understand and accept that Energy Alchemy practices and teachings may test my physical and mental limits and involve risks, including:

• Death, serious injury, or emotional distress

• Effects caused by the physical condition of participants or facilities

• Risks inherent to volunteer actions, equipment, or environmental conditions

2.6 GOVERNING LAW

This release shall be construed broadly to provide a waiver and release to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

Section 3 - Tantra Massage Events

​

3.1 PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES AND INFORMED CONSENT

• I hereby give my consent to participate in and to give and receive massage (including genital massage and intimate touch) and/or other bodywork as well as instruction in Tantra Massage, Tantra Yoga, meditation, and energy work.

• Energy Alchemy Tantra Massage courses have a proven record for safety and effectiveness. However, in very rare cases, participation in the above-listed activities and training may potentially result in risks and side effects (See section 3.3 below - Potential Risks and Side Effects of Tantra massage). ​

• I accept full responsibility for myself and my health and safety and indemnify fully and hold harmless Energy Alchemy and all directors, officers, employees, controlling persons, fiduciaries, and other agents and affiliates of the Company.

• My decision to receive training and participate in Tantra Massage courses with Energy Alchemy is voluntary, and I know of, understand, and assume any and all risks associated therewith.

 

3.2 NUDITY, INTIMATE TOUCH, AND GENITAL MASSAGE

I hereby declare that in full awareness and agreement, I choose to participate in Energy Alchemy’s Tantra Massage events and I am aware and fully accept that these courses include and involve nudity, intimate bodily touch between various participants and myself, genital massage for healing and therapeutic purposes, multiple exchanges of massage partners during the event, and full-body touch.

Energy Alchemy reserves the right to remove participants who fail to respect boundaries, violate consent, or exhibit inappropriate behavior toward staff or other participants.

 

3.3 POTENTIAL RISKS AND SIDE EFFECTS OF TANTRA MASSAGE

I hereby confirm that I have been fully informed and I accept and agree to all the health risks mentioned below. Also, I fully accept and agree to participate in any of the STS Tantra Massage Events with full knowledge and awareness of the health risks and possible damages mentioned above. 

 

• Blood Clots: The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) warns that massage may pose risks for clients with high blood pressure or deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Pressure during a massage could potentially dislodge arterial plaque or blood clots, which may travel to the heart, brain, or lungs, posing serious health risks, though such events are rare.

• Nerve Damage: Excessive pressure during massage can cause temporary nerve damage. During a Tantra Massage event, I am responsible for communicating with my massage partner or staff to provide feedback and prevent discomfort or potential harm.

• Infectious skin conditions such as herpes, cold sores, shingles, rashes, warts, and ringworm, can be transmitted during massage, despite Energy Alchemy’s diligent screening efforts.

• Emotional Side Effects: Tantra Massage events may trigger emotional releases, including agitation, anger, or the surfacing of past traumas. Participants may experience low emotional states, such as depression, anxiety, life conflicts, or questioning their life’s purpose, which can persist for hours, days, or weeks. In rare cases, psychological symptoms may escalate to mental crises or breakdowns.

• Purification Effects: Tantra Massage may result in temporary purification effects, including soreness, discomfort, bruising, swelling, or sensitivity/allergy to massage oils. Other possible effects include nausea, vomiting, short- or long-term diarrhea, general body discomfort, and emotional expressions or releases.

• Other side effects: In rare cases, Tantra Massage may result in serious side effects such as blood clotting issues, stroke, Bell’s Palsy, paralysis, organ dysfunction, or structural and physical discomfort. Participants may also experience hyperventilation, increased heart rate, or other unforeseen reactions. While these occurrences are highly uncommon, they highlight the importance of full disclosure of relevant health conditions and a commitment to participating responsibly. Energy Alchemy is not liable for unforeseen or extraordinary circumstances arising from participation.

3.4 Disclosure of Medical Conditions

I commit to informing Energy Alchemy of the following prior to participating:

• Any chronic or acute health conditions, including but not limited to heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, neurological disorders, or skin conditions.

• Any current or past traumatic experiences that may affect my ability to participate safely or fully.

• Pregnancy or any condition requiring special accommodations or medical approval.

 

Energy Alchemy reserves the right to deny participation if disclosed or undisclosed medical conditions pose a risk to the participant or others.

3.5 Voluntary Participation and Accountability

I confirm that:

• My decision to participate is entirely voluntary and based on my informed consent, without any coercion or obligation.

• I accept full responsibility for managing my physical, mental, and emotional boundaries throughout the event.

• Energy Alchemy is not liable for any physical discomfort, emotional distress, or adverse effects experienced during or after the event, including those arising from my participation or interactions with other participants.

 

3.5 REQUIRED LEVEL OF MOBILITY

The practice massage sessions in Tantra Massage events take place on the floor, using padded spaces created from supplies participants are required to bring (e.g., yoga mats, blankets, etc.).

To fully participate in this training, a reasonable level of physical health and fitness is essential. Participants should be free from severe or debilitating injuries that would prevent kneeling, moving comfortably on the floor, or massaging a partner for extended periods.

​

Massage practice sessions typically last 1–3 hours. Stamina, flexibility, strength, and mobility are crucial for sustaining this level of physical activity. Please carefully consider these requirements before applying or registering.

Section 4 - COVID-19 and Other Infectious Diseases

​

• I acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of participating in an Energy Alchemy event during a time when infectious diseases, including COVID-19 and its variants, as well as other communicable illnesses, may be present. To the best of my knowledge, I am currently healthy, free of symptoms, and not carrying any contagious conditions.

• I confirm that I will only attend an Energy Alchemy event if I have been symptom-free of COVID-19 or any other infectious illness for at least 14 days prior to the event (excluding online events). I further commit to taking necessary precautions, such as monitoring my health and avoiding participation if I suspect I may pose a risk to others.

• I fully assume all risks related to potential exposure to infectious diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19, and release Energy Alchemy from any responsibility for health outcomes related to such exposure. Should I contract an illness during or after the event, I accept full responsibility and agree not to hold Energy Alchemy liable for any associated consequences.

• I understand that Energy Alchemy events involve shared spaces, close physical interactions, and practices such as touch and massage, which may increase the risk of exposure to infectious diseases. These activities do not follow social distancing guidelines or require the use of face masks. I accept these conditions and take full responsibility for my participation.

• I acknowledge that Energy Alchemy cannot be held responsible for non-adherence to public health guidelines by other participants or staff. I release Energy Alchemy and all event participants from any claims or legal actions related to exposure to or infection with any communicable illness during or after the event.

• If I develop symptoms of an infectious disease during the event, I agree to notify the teaching team immediately. I understand that the event team reserves the right to exclude me from all course-related activities and requests that I leave the venue. I acknowledge that no refunds will be issued in such circumstances.

 

Section 5 - Confidentiality and Copyright

 

I agree to:

• Refrain from recording or reproducing any part of Energy Alchemy’s events without prior written consent.

• Protect all proprietary materials and content, understanding that unauthorized distribution constitutes a breach of this agreement.

I understand that violations may result in legal action, fines, and expulsion from the event.

 

Section 6 - Code of Conduct

 

Energy Alchemy reserves the right to deny participation or remove participants for:

• Disruptive, disrespectful, or aggressive behavior.

• Violations of confidentiality or recording policies.

• Other behaviors deemed detrimental to the event or participants.

 

Expulsion will result in forfeiture of all fees.

 

Section 7 - Waiver of Rights

 

By participating in Energy Alchemy events:

• I waive all rights to bring legal action against the organization for injuries, damages, or losses, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable.

• I indemnify Energy Alchemy against any claims arising from my actions during participation.​​

Section 8 - Agreement to All Terms

 

I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this agreement. I certify that:

• My participation is voluntary and informed.

• I accept all risks and responsibilities associated with participation.

 

By ticking the respective box on the check-out page of the Energy Alchemy website, I certify I have read the terms and am hereby legally bound to all terms herein. 

 

I agree to sign this document in person and in physical form upon arrival at an Energy Alchemy event.
